#PIT2PUB - MEET THE PRESS(ES) - PANDAMOON PUBLISHING

FICTION GENRES
Our fiction line focuses on the genres listed below, however we have found that most of our fiction books rarely fit into just one of these categories. If your proposed book fits into more than just one genre, that’s perfectly fine with us. For fiction books, we would like to see word counts around 80,000. More information on word counts is available here. At this time, we are not pursuing short stories, anthologies, or novellas. Pandamoon also does not publish Middle Grade or Children's books. Please continue to check back with us as this may change in the future.

WHAT WE WON'T PUBLISH
At Pandamoon, we like to think of ourselves as open-minded contemporary people. However, there are several subjects in both the fiction and non-fiction realms that we simply will not publish. These include books that incite hate, bigotry, or racism or instruct the reader how to commit illegal acts (manifestos). Thank you for understanding our position on this subject.

SELF-PUBLISHED TITLES
As a general rule, we do not accept self-published titles. However, we have made exceptions to this rule on a case-by-case basis. The primary condition upon which we would consider exceptions are if the book (and series, if applicable) was critically well received but did not achieve significant reach in the marketplace. The only way for us to determine whether or not it is a mutual fit is to send it to us for evaluation. Please follow our regular submission guidelines.
